Would I like to stay in Sweden or would I like to go back to the Netherlands?
That is a question I often get. My standard answer is usually that I really like it here in Sweden, and that Alicia has a few years left on her education. So the logic choice is to stay for at least a while after my studies.
When I started to compare the countries (aside from my personal experiences), I found some interesting facts showing the differences on a more societal level. I would not directly say one country is better than the other… Instead I made a short video showing some interesting facts about Sweden, pointing out some of the good or just generally interesting things.
The video shows the text “borta bra men hemma bäst”, which means “away is good but home is best”. Maybe that would be a good answer to the question if I would like to go back? “Away is good but home is best” could of course be interpreted in different ways, but right now Sweden is my home.
If you want to read a full factual comparison of the two countries you can follow this link. There is also a quick overview of quick facts about Sweden on their official website. It is quite interesting to see.
Hope you like the video (watch fullscreen), and please share it if you want! Which fact about Sweden do you think is the most interesting?
